SV3N, born and raised in Offenbach am Main, was immersed in music from an early age through his father’s extensive record collection. By age 10, music became his refuge, drawing early influence from Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ultravox, Anne Clarke, and The Art of Noise. At 14, he learned to DJ. Active in Hip-Hop and EBM scenes, he also explored Disco, Soul, and Electronic Pop before discovering early Techno and House in the late 80s via local clubs, friends, and radio stations. Between 1989 and 1993, SV3N was a fixture at iconic Frankfurt clubs such as OMEN, The Music Box, and Dorian Gray. In 1993, he transitioned from the dancefloor to the DJ booth, playing with the DELIRIUM crew in clubs across the region. By 1995, he had performed at Berlin’s Tresor. After refining his sound towards Electro and IDM, he moved to Manchester in 1998, affiliating with Skam Records and the UK underground.
