Horror Show – Guest Mix: #59 LA SANGUIJUELA

La Sanguijuela is an electronic music producer and sound designer from Puerto Rico, based in Chicago. Influenced by old school Electronic Body Music and Industrial genres, and the current underground Darkwave and Rave scenes, his music delves into the deepest corners of the mind to create dark atmospheres, intense rhythms, with aggressive and driving bass lines making an obscure blend between EBM, TBM, Dark Electro, and Experimental genres. He got his start making music in the Puerto Rican noise scene, which continues to influence his style. Additionally, he is a drummer in the Puerto Rican post-punk band, Desahuciados.
Inspiration: For this set, I draw inspiration from the dark, relentless energy of EBM, TBM, Industrial, Techno, Acid, and Darkwave, channeling themes of control, fear, and psychological manipulation—a dark club PSYOP, playing a few of the many songs that resonate and inspire me.
