Dream Days is a DJ, party thrower, and producer that lives in Austin, Texas USA.
They enjoy playing sets that focus on „attitude and emotion.” They prefer their music and parties to be more rugged and unrefined, and they view dance music through a DIY subversive lens. They play often in Texas and are known for long marathon sets that go across genres and boundaries.
In Austin they throw a monthly warehouse rave called Body Mechanics. They have been going for over four years and are going strong! Deep in the middle of conservative cowboy Texas, Body Mechanics provides a space of refuge for the freaks.
This mix has a lot of ebm mixed with some wave, electro, synth pop, post punk, and some wildcards as well. There are also a few original Dream Days tracks (two of which are coming out this summer) and an acapella by Daniel Johnston at the end; who is an Austin hero.
