Halina World is a Warsaw-based DJ, promoter, and member of the Oramics collective. She’s insatiably enamored with the aesthetics of the late ’90s and early ’00s, which is why her selection, in addition to house and techno, echoes many other genres. Her stylistic flexibility is dominated by only one factor: groove. Her sets are packed with it, as attendees of the Garbicz Festival, Audioriver, and Tauron Nowa Muzyka, as well as the hundreds of club events she’s played at from Warsaw to Bangkok, have witnessed. As a promoter, she strives for equal lineups and a welcoming atmosphere for all.
