In this mix you will hear an archived interview recorded in 2002 at CKUT 90.3 FM community radio in Montreal about the Anarchist protests against the NATO summit in Prague. Also, you will hear recent field recordings registered in Paris on a balcony in Belleville, in Vancouver walking between Skytrain stops. You hear protest sounds at actions to support Palestinian liberation recorded in New York City. Across the mix you hear ambient and tonal music that aims to create space for reflection that is needed in a fast speed world while social media corporations aim to trick our physiological states into thinking that the real world is less valuable than the digital one. The street sounds and protest sounds in this mix are a reminder of the critical beauty and importance of IRL zones.
