Sound Archives: Sara Wuel [LIVE]

We’re back with Sara Wuel on our monthly „Sound Archives” broadcast on @radio_kapital!

This October Escola Normal invited Sara to Madeira to play LIVE within organic/analog/instrumental realms of electronic music – her Live Act consists of her unreleased house music which she prepared specially for this gig, topped with self-built theremin compositions. Theremin is an electronic musical instrument controlled without physical contact by the performer.

Sara Wual is a music composer and thereminist throwing live performances mostly within the scope of House Music, Experimental Electronic Music and Dance Music, often with with Jazz, Ambient and Krautrock influences.

To pass the atmosphere of the mix we’ve created an analogue cover made from epoxy resin. Embedded hive resembles a warm nature of sounds presented in the archive while liquidic forms above give it a structure of a house with the honey being barely poured onto it 😉
