Casplay: #4 Hunay Saday

Hunay Saday falls in love with electronic music when she moves to Strasbourg and surrounds herself with DJ friends. After participating in a few classes organized by a collective, which notably offers introductory workshops in electronic music (DJing and Production) dedicated to women, non binary and trans people, she continues her education with her friends. Attracted mostly by breaks, bass music and drum and bass, Hunay draws her inspiration from her cinematographic influences: “At the end of a set I want to have the same feeling as when I finish editing a short film”.

She is now a resident on a local web radio “ODC Live” and “Root radio” – an independant radio based in Istanbul; as well as a member of « tumixesbien » – a collective fighting against sexism and for a more equal electro scene.
