Casplay

Radio show dedicated to artists from Azerbaijan („Cas-” is a reference to Caspian Sea). The main goal of this project is to show how diverse the club scene in Baku is, discover newcomers and give them an opportunity to share their music with Polish listeners.

This would never be possible without a help from my talented friends from Baku, like Shargiyya who made the cover for the show (collage with her photos of Caspian sea). Moreover, her paintings are going to be the covers for each episode, which will add a visual aspect to podcasts. She also came up with a name of the show together with Azad Badaloff. The conceptual logo on the main cover is designed by multidisciplinary artist Farhad Farzali, who also comes from Baku.

My dream is to build a bridge between Polish and Azerbaijani communities in order to exchange knowledge and experience, collaborate with each other. It makes me extremely happy to finally start sharing music from my hometown, which I really miss.
