This sound work is a contemplation and meditation around imagined trees. Beech and Cedar. Their needles, bark, branches and trunks. The air and landscapes around them. An attempt to create an intimate space of peace and closeness.

„echoes of trees” is part of a performance in the PAV living room space in Geneva. Activated by three radios (Radio Kapitał, Radio Alhara and Radio PAV) in continuous broadcast – 3 inputs – the frequencies resonate and bounce through the PAV neighborhood at a precise moment. In sequence, each radio plays a sound intervention specifically conceived for the site. On one hand, the continuous sound in the different locations activates public space and proposes to merge it with the frequencies of the radios and those of the city. On the other hand, the sound interventions guide spectators and invite them to discover these places through the sonic vision of the artists.

The project is curated by Amir-Sam Halabi, Meryl Barthe and Piotr Kadlubowski.
