Od 28 kwietnia na ulicach kolumbijskich miast trwają protesty, które szybko przekształciły się w otwartą walkę obywateli i obywatelek z uzbrojoną policją. Od początku 2020 roku, wskutek pandemii, problemów z opieką medyczną i rosnącego bezrobocia, Kolumbia pogrąża się w coraz większym kryzysie. Rząd skrajnie prawicowego ugrupowania “Demokratyczne centrum” postanowił wykorzystać ten czas i wprowadzić reformy podatkowe oraz reprywatyzację służby zdrowia – zmiany, które najmocniej odczuliby najbiedniejsi. W odpowiedzi na masowe protesty kolumbijska policja odpowiedziała brutalnym atakiem w stronę demonstrantów i demonstrantek. Walki nie ustają.

Since 28 April, protests that erupted on the streets of Colombian cities have quickly escalated into an open fight between citizens and armed police. Since the beginning of 2020, as a result of the pandemic, problems with medical care and rising unemployment, Colombia has plunged into a growing crisis. The government of the far-right „Democratic Centre” decided to take advantage of this time to introduce tax reforms and re-privatise health care – with the poorest bearing the brunt of these changes. The Colombian police responded to mass protests with brutal attacks on demonstrators. The struggle continues. We stand in solidarity with the protesters in Colombia, because solidarity is our weapon!

Osur is a Colombia based DJ that started his musical journey in Chicago early acid house sounds, as far as now, he has explored elements from different musical backgrounds such as: Lo-fi house, EBM, Detroit and Electro.
