carewaves: #9 Birthday Party – turning one

Last November, we aired the very first episode of carewaves (sick!) on Radio Kapitał! Over the past year, carewaves has become more than just a radio show. It’s been a space for sonic exploration, friendship, and discovery, a place where care resonates through voices, textures, and moments of shared listening. For our birthday episode, we wanted to turn this energy outward and invite others to co-create the broadcast with us.
Through an open call for sound works, we received beautiful submissions that exceeded all expectations. You’ll find all the track titles and descriptions on our IG @kingamolinska and @alicjagaszta, and in the episode notes.
Thank you to everyone who has been with us, our collaborators, contributors, and listeners and to Radio Kapitał for providing space for sonic experiments and care to grow. After the first year, both movement and speech develop faster, so stay with us as carewaves continues to transform, evolve, and listen.
