Po roku przerwy festiwal Braille Satellite wraca do Mushroom Manor Park na Litwie – 6. edycja odbędzie się 17-20 lipca.

Organizatorzy jak zwykle przygotowali program wypełniony różnymi gatunkami muzyki  podziale na trzy sceny. Czekają nas cztery dni wypełnione koncertami legend muzycznego podziemia, artystów-outsiderów i nowymi odkryciami.

Braille Satellite to niekomercyjne święto muzyki i sztuki, które powstaje w duchu DIY bez zewnętrznego wsparcia finansowego. Jego siłą napędową są ludzie, którzy chcą, by festiwal się odbył i zrzucają się na pokrycie kosztów lub w inny sposób przyczyniają się do jego organizacji.

Festiwal ma na celu zaprezentowanie zespołów i artystów tworzących muzykę spoza głównego nurtu. To spotkanie ludzi z całego świata, którzy chcą współdzielić to doświadczenie w wyjątkowej atmosferze i wspólnie celebrować wolność.

Ola Szkudłapska talks to Matas Labašauskas and Oscar Olias Castellanos, the curators of Braille Satellite festival.

The 6th edition of an annual music and arts festival Braille Satellite will take place in the Mushroom Manor Park, Lithuania on the third weekend of July (17 – 20). Keeping our direction, we’ll present different genres of music divided between three stages. Undiscovered legends of subcultural music, homemade musicians, new bands from this era and other curiosities will be playing music for 4 days.

Braille Satellite is a non-commercial event of music and other arts that is not financially supported and is based on DIY principles. The whole “power” comes from the people who want this festival to happen and either are donating money to cover the expenses or offering other kinds of help.

The festival aims to present the bands and performers that create music outside the mainstream industry. The festival results in the great summit of people from all around the world who are interested in exchanging experiences in a unique atmosphere and are sharing this way of celebration and freedom.
