If You’re Feeling Sinister: #13 – Soul Sister, Rebel Girl

08/11/2020
Neil MiltonOla Szkudłapska

If You’re Feeling Sinister this month is all about girls (or grrls). Chiming in with the energy of Poland’s massive street protests that erupted after a ruling outlawing legal abortion in the country, Ola and Neil have prepared an hour’s worth of female-fronted music – from twee pop and riot grrl to post-punk and electronica, with a 60s classic by the Shangri-Las thrown in for good measure. As well as some trivia about toucans and Scottish lo-fi high-fashion. This is a morning show, after all.
