Gnostic Methods: w/ Narvalos

At the crossroads where man meets machine stands Narvalos, an electronic music project by Marco Segato and Alessio Costantino. The italian duo have a totally instinctive approach to music-making, trying to capture the mood of the moment with improvised hardware live-recordings as synthetic representations of imaginary time-spaces.

Combining ethnic soundscapes, wild beats, filthy bass, hypnotic synths, fx feedbacks and film vocals, Narvalos’ music mesmerizes, dances and raves at the same time, invoking a visual imaginary in the sound – that of a psychedelic landscape, a surreal creatures or a remote place – delivered through the ruthlessness of the machines.
