The title of this episode is the title of the recently published collaborative album of Arooj Aftab – Grammy Award-winning singer and composer from Pakistan and based in US, Vijay Iyer – American pianist and composer with Indian Tamil parents and Shahzad Ismaily – Pakistani-American bass player mostly known as the bass player of Marc Ribot and Ceramic Dog.
Love in Exile is a tribute to musicians with root from Indian sub-continent on exile such as Rez Abbasi, Jaubi, Zakir Hussain and Sarathy Korwar.
