Pitu pitu recordz existed somehow between 2004-2016. It all began in a small town in the west of Poland, and over time it spread from France to Argentina. Pitu pitu archivises off-the-record sounds from between the kitchen, the corridor, the bedroom, the brother’s room … Some of these sounds was published in the form of CDs recorded on a home PC, some on super limited cassettes, or in the form of files free shared on the internet. Strictly DIY way. Cardboard covers, old voice recorders and a microphone in tomato soup – that what pitu pitu was about.
