After a childhood surrounded by traditional songs in Bogota and a punk rock adolescence in Florida, she moved to Washington DC. In this city, she emerged as a trailblazer for the new electro latin scene, co-founding „Maracuyeah” and establishing herself as a DJ, promoter, and activist. A champion of Latin electronic music, Mafe has since relocated to Paris, where she co-founded the Latin Beat Machine festival. Known for her vibrant sets that seamlessly blend Latin American rhythms with electronic beats, Mafe Maracuyeah embarks audiences on a transcontinental exploration of sounds crafted for the dancefloor.
