Verve Records to wytwórnia założona w 1956 roku przez Normana Granza. Powstała w wyniku przemian wcześniejszego projektu Granza – Clef Records. Po połączeniu z GRP Records w 1998 została przejęta przez Universal Music Group. Przez kilkadziesiąt lat była domem dla wielu wybitnych artystów, takich jak Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Stan Getz czy Oscar Peterson.
