Beats of Solidarity

A few words from the author of the mix:
I was born in a small town in Western Ukraine and like many teenagers I’ve been listening to all kinds of pop-music. But one day, back in 2001, I found myself on a party where some guys from Kyiv played vinyl. That’s where I heard tracks made and mixed by Phil Fuldner, Cassius, Armand Van Helden, Robbie Rivera, Olav Basoski and many more. The world just turned for me into a big spinning record. Since that time, I’ve tried different styles but ended up playing house and many of his sub-genres. I’m glad that I have an opportunity to share the music I like with the people who may like it too.

About the mix:
This mix was recorded during one of the air alarms in Kyiv. I usually play more of beach-style-summer-like-house, but right now, there’s a lot of aggression inside and I’ve tried to transform it into a positive, but powerful vibe. I’m very thankful to Poland and EU for helping us to fight for our freedom. If you will dance to this mix, just imagine, that every stomp you make with your feet, is an attacking step of our army, crushing the enemy on the way of liberating our territories which are currently occupied.
