COŚ SIĘ DZIEJE ??!: Where is your face

The radio-drama „Where is your face?” is based on the book of artist, philologist and musician – Anastasia Rydlevskaya. Performative reading featuring Anastasia and actress Yauheniya Davidzenka, accompanied by an ambient DJ set by czuły (Vład Błyzniuk) – a member of the Radio Kapitał collective. The texts in the artbook, known as specific rhythmic prose or „white poems,” are based on the artist’s real diaries and are illustrated with images portraying nuanced trauma. Anastasia’s diary delves into the personal experience of an individual who lived during a political regime, repression, the Belarusian protests of 2020/21, and emigration to another country.

The project was made with the support of the Free Belarus Center and was performed in Staromiejski Dom Kultury. The sound drama is conducted in English and Belarusian. Immerse yourself in the emotions or listen before sleep.
