Her focus centers mainly on the Discappointment collective and event series she co-founded, which promotes a wide range of genres and fresh-sounding artists from the local club scene. Recently, she has also started the bass-focused GUNGE event series.

In her musical exploration, Taan immerses herself in various sonic landscapes, constantly nurturing her passion for discovering and melding unexpected sounds. Her primary fascination stems from the broken and bass-heavy textures. She alternates between weaving these elements with rich, organic drums and creating textured soundscapes with a futuristic edge.

As a selector, she favors genre-blending, seamlessly navigating from bass, breakbeat and dancehall to dubstep and grime or venturing into leftfield and experimental sounds ~
