Scrambled Sounds: #8/Saudade

August is coming…and therefore this episode is special, as much as August is unique in my summerish memories. Porto definitely stole my heart from the first sight, both musically and as a magical place.

There is this portugese expression called Saudade, „is a vague and constant desire for something that does not and probably cannot exist, for something other than the present, a turning towards the past or towards the future; not an active discontent or poignant sadness but an indolent dreaming wistfulness.”

Special thanks to my mate Pedro Adelino (insta: behelzebuwu) from band Astra Vaga insta: astra_vaga), who showed me the city back then, but also helped me with this episode, without him and his knowledge of all of those bands I wouldn’t do it. Whole episode is a tribute to bands from Porto and some from other portugese cities, but most of them are OG Porto people.
