„What I often think about nowadays, sitting at home not being able to travel, witnessing so much going on in the world around me, I can’t stop re-examining and re-thinking of the concept of „well-being”. When we are prone to stress and anxiety like we are now, it comes naturally thinking how to make ourselves feel better, healthier, how to find peace within us and all these stereotypical concepts that we relate to feeling well inside, in the skin we live in. Escape from the city life into the nature, slowing down of our activities in general, are default scenarios that follow the urge to feel better.

There has always been a lot of music, doing exactly the same – in one way or another, examining or criticizing or using as inspiration this topic. In this compilation that I’ve put together, not every piece necessarily touches this subject directly or obviously. Juxtaposing the compositions with one another, choosing some particular ones for the specific genre that they belong to, for the sounds or words that they use, or the soundscapes that they portrait, I was building the contextual framework that could be used to reflect upon these topics that I mentioned. There are numerous listening perspectives and you are invited to find your own „sweet-spot” within this music and this subject. Enjoy listening!”
