Season’s Greetings: 7 / enmossed takeover (July)

Expect a spacious lullaby. Listening with all the senses. Uncovering. Mud around the toes as the tide goes out. Featuring a takeover from one of our favorite experimental music labels, enmossed. Glyn says of his mix: „This could be considered the first entry in my ongoing „Interbedded Gneiss” mix series, which is comprised of snippets of LPs heavily pitched down (>20%). I have an old field recorder permanently attached to my vinyl amp & hit record whenever something hits nicely. Later, I dump all of the snippets to my computer & construct a mix from them (& tracklisting which can be difficult sometimes). So the mixes function as an auditory diary or sketchbook of sorts, showcasing what & how I was listening to things. This particular mix collects tracks from the latter half of 2020 & was constructed around the solstice at the end of the year. While it was in the dead of winter in western Maine, during COVID, I believe a summery vibe packed with woozy uncertainty pervades the mix.”
