Season&#8217;s Greetings returns with a dreamy episode for the end of May ~ Bells from the Deep has just returned from a trip to Japan where she was touring with her tarot-inspired sound project for a few weeks. The first hour is dedicated to the musicians she met and performed with along the way. Chanelle Allesandre has been reading (as she does every spring) the love poems of Halina Poświatowska. So, she has infused hour two with songs and poems for the lovers listening out there. Expect some deep cuts, new tunes, ambient breaks, birds, blossoms, undiscovered sounds, and lush poetry. Sending great love on wafts of purple lilac, on the softness of newly unfurled red oak leaves, and with hints of black walnut bud ready to burst. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy &lt;3

Season&#8217;s Greetings is back with a two-hour long episode of sonic moments and botanical musings collected by Chanelle Allesandre and Bells from the Deep to capture the essence of Beltane: this perfect mid-point between the spring and summer. The first hour of this show features excerpts of live recordings from the experimental underground and a little about a flower called Bleeding Heart. Hour two showcases Our Lady&#8217;s Mantle and an array of melodies that bead up like the morning dew. Some sounds unfurl quietly and spread out like a palm, others with a clear and chirping burst. Some sounds bloom in bells, flutes, vocals, others in and keys, rhythms, crescendos, and loops. Tune in for a sonic dose of this frenetic and floral and vibrant time of the year.

Golden reaching: holding space between. Golden glow: of Salix babylonica. We&#8217;ll let you sleep in a little bit longer, but you&#8217;ll have to get up soon! Spring is here, and there&#8217;s something outside we want to show you&#8230; This episode is full of spacious tracks&#8211;like a great big yawn or a perfect stretch after a long night of sleep. But it is also dappled with some beats&#8211;like the warm water right before it reaches a boil. We&#8217;re parting the bedroom curtain with this episode: time to take the dreams you dreamed all winter and put them into action, one step or hop or leap at a time. We’ve devoted two hours to this special seasonal marker. This sonic capsule features wintry tunes, droning melodies, vocals trying to articulate. There are hints of spring (is that spring?), songs that sound like sun on snow and snow in the sun, music that offers space and music running with the urgency to fill it. Bells from the Deep leads off the show and tells us all about Angelica. Chanelle Allesandre picks up the last hour and speaks a little about Lobelia. What good tension is there in waiting?
