Season’s Greetings: 4/Beltane
Season’s Greetings is back with a two-hour long episode of sonic moments and botanical musings collected by Chanelle Allesandre and Bells from the Deep to capture the essence of Beltane: this perfect mid-point between the spring and summer. The first hour of this show features excerpts of live recordings from the experimental underground and a little about a flower called Bleeding Heart. Hour two showcases Our Lady’s Mantle and an array of melodies that bead up like the morning dew. Some sounds unfurl quietly and spread out like a palm, others with a clear and chirping burst. Some sounds bloom in bells, flutes, vocals, others in and keys, rhythms, crescendos, and loops. Tune in for a sonic dose of this frenetic and floral and vibrant time of the year.
